Making a Booking

Contact us to check availability or check our online calendar.
A deposit of 1/3 of the total rent is payable with booking form either by cheque or bank transfer. Balance of rent to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival date.
Telephone bookings will be held for 7 days pending receipt of deposit and booking form, failing which after 10 days the provisional booking will be cancelled. On receipt of deposit the booking will be confirmed by either letter or email.
Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival date are payable in full.

Online Bookings

All online bookings are provisional until confirmed in writing. 
When you submit an online booking you will receive an automatically generated booking summary by email to the email address you have provided in the booking form. This does not form a contract between us. A contract will only arise when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing by us via a letter of confirmation sent by post or email.

Tariff

Prices include: Electricity, oil for Aird House, coal for fire, linen and towels.

Cancellation

If you require to cancel a booking having given due notice in writing, we will make every effort to re-let the property for the period concerned. If able to do so, then we will refund the deposit(s) and rent paid less any expenses incurred in re-letting the property.
We advise you to take out holiday insurance to cover cancellation, loss or damage to personal effects. Vehicles, accessories and contents are left at their owner’s risk.

Occupancy

The occupancy of your property should not exceed the number stated on the booking form.
Maximum of:

2 people for Aird Steading Cottage
6 people for Aird House

The tenant agrees to keep the property and all fitments, furniture, equipment and other contents in or on the property in the like state of repair. All damages and losses must be reported before the property is vacated and will be charged in full.
The property should be left clean and tidy on departure and excessive cleaning may result in an additional charge.

No Smoking on premises.

No pets.

Arrival

Your cottage / house will be ready for you by 4.00pm and must be vacated by 10am on day of departure. We would appreciate notification in advance if arrival is after 5 pm.
